We continue to remember his caring, gentle, and giving spirit as we share and enjoy his awe-inspiring artwork. The John August Swanson Studio is working on and currently proofing a new giclée edition of “Abraham and Isaac” to be released soon. Below, you may read a history on the project, and how it has changed and continued over many years. John August Swanson’s 2020 Canticle Suite appears in the Sacro Convento Friary’s 2025 calendar in celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Praise.
