Description
Pentecost, 2013, is based on a small etching from 1983. The Holy Spirit descends on the people gathered, as mighty winds and tongues of fire, enabling them to speak to all of the wonders of God.
Swanson saw the Spirit of God, re-energizing all people and bringing us together to work for peace, to heal the Earth, and to honor the diversity of our life’s journey.
May God bless all of us in this search–
no matter which road we take,
no matter which path we need to follow.
No matter which way the Spirit leads us.
But let us journey it together.
“You must be born from above. The wind blows wherever it pleases; you hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.
That is how it is with all born of the Spirit.
