Description

Throughout the 1970s, Swanson worked principally with serigraphs–silk screen prints. In the early 1980s, Swanson began experimenting with additional printing methods, including etchings and hand-printed lithographs. For this lithograph, Swanson drew the image for each color to be printed, the image for the brown printing on a stone, and the images for Blue and Yellow on two separate aluminum plates. In the printing, Swanson was assisted by master printer Efram Wolff.

Printing began in November 1982, and the edition of 40 was published in January 1983.
