Description
John created this poster using a collage of sketches from his sketchbooks. Each image is the face of a refugee, a person seeking help and an outsider wanting acceptance from a foreign land. The two faces in the middle of the poster are sketch made from passport photos of his parents–his Swedish father, and his Mexican mother.
The hand-lettered text quotes the Nobel Laureate, Elie Wiesel, and Robert Kennedy. These quotes remind us of the common humanity all people share, no matter what country they are from.
