Tuesday, September 23, 2025 will be the four-year anniversary of the passing of John August Swanson. We continue to remember his caring, gentle, and giving spirit as we share and enjoy his awe-inspiring artwork.
His life will be celebrated at the St Camillus Center Chapel on Tuesday, September 23rd during their 12:10 pm Mass.

The photograph below is from a small art show in England in the 1970s, and the two sketches by Swanson are of two of his studios, one on Kenmore and the other in Silver Lake. The sketch of the Silver Lake hills was used in a mailing from 1990.
